One frigid Sunday morning, as her husband handed her a pile of excuses instead of the firewood he promised to fetch the night before, the idea for a book -- THE CRAZY-MAKING HUSBAND -- struck her. The woodstoves dimmed, the house temperature dropped, her fingers froze, but Muffy didn't notice. Spun in a gleeful frenzy, in less than an hour she created the framework for THE CRAZY-MAKING HUSBAND.
